Community Schoolhouse Inc. Announces 2026 Golf Cart Raffle to Support Community Center Project

LaPorte County, IN — Community Schoolhouse Inc. (CSI), a local nonprofit organization dedicated to historic preservation and community development, has announced a fundraising raffle featuring a brand-new 2026 golf cart.

Proceeds from the raffle will directly support CSI’s mission to convert the former LaCrosse High School into a community center serving southern LaPorte County. The project aims to preserve the historic structure while creating a space for community development, enrichment, and connection.

The golf cart prize includes a range of modern features, including a 60-volt system with a 4kW A/C motor, a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with rearview camera and Bluetooth audio, luxury four-passenger seating with folding rear seats, full LED lighting, and 12-inch wheels.

The winning ticket will be drawn at the Wanatah Scarecrow Festival in September 2026. The winner does not need to be present at the time of the drawing.

Raffle tickets are available at the following levels:

• $10 for one ticket
• $25 for three tickets
• $40 for five tickets
• $75 for ten tickets

Tickets can be purchased at the Hangar Grill Pub at 5 N.
